Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Final Router: what we owe you, what you owe us, and what happens when either side gets it wrong.
1.The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and INNOVIDEN GP, a general partnership registered in Greece at Zalokosta 8, Kolonaki, Athens, Greece, which operates Final Router. Creating an account, or sending a single request through the gateway, means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to bind it.
We have written this in plain language on purpose. Plain does not mean informal — every clause here is meant to be enforceable.
2.What the service does
Final Router accepts OpenAI-compatible API requests, selects a model according to the routing policy you configured, forwards the request to that model's provider using either our credentials or yours, and returns the response. It records metadata about the request so you can see cost, latency and token counts.
We may add, change or retire features. Where a change breaks something you depend on, we give at least 30 days notice by email and in the changelog. Security fixes may ship immediately.
3.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If we learn an account holder is under 18 we terminate it and delete the data, as set out in the Content Policy.
- Give accurate registration details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for everything done with your API keys. Treat them like passwords: server-side only, never in a browser bundle or a public repository.
- Tell us at security@finalrouter.com the moment you suspect a key has leaked. We will rotate it immediately, and we do not charge for that.
- One human per account. Teams get seats, not shared logins.
4.Acceptable use
You may not use Final Router to do any of the following, and you may not help anyone else do them.
- Break the law, or infringe someone else's intellectual property or privacy.
- Generate child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualises minors in any way.
- Produce targeted harassment, credible threats, or content intended to incite violence.
- Run disinformation campaigns, impersonate a real person or organisation, or generate content designed to deceive people about who is speaking.
- Build malware, phishing content, or tooling whose purpose is to compromise systems you do not own.
- Circumvent the safety systems, usage limits or content policies of any provider we route to.
- Resell raw gateway access as though it were your own inference capacity, or scrape the service to build a competing catalogue.
- Probe, load-test or attack our infrastructure without written permission. Responsible security research is covered separately on our security page and is welcome.
You must also follow the usage policy of every provider your traffic reaches — routing through us does not exempt you from theirs. Where a provider's rules are stricter than ours, theirs apply to that traffic.
We may suspend an account immediately where we have a reasonable belief it is being used for the above. Where the issue is ambiguous we contact you first and give you a chance to fix it.
5.Your content
Prompts you send and completions you receive are yours. We claim no ownership of either, and we do not use them to train models.
We take the narrow licence needed to run the service — to transmit your prompt to the provider you selected and stream the answer back. That licence exists only for the seconds a request takes and for no other purpose.
You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you send us, and for what you do with what comes back. Model output can be wrong, biased or fabricated. Do not put it in front of users, patients, clients or courts without a human check.
6.Credits, fees and billing
- The free tier gives you access to free models with a daily request cap and no card on file.
- Paid usage runs on prepaid credits. Tokens are charged at the provider's list price with no markup from us.
- A 5.5% payment processing fee is added when you buy credits. It is shown before you confirm, never after.
- Routing through your own provider keys costs 5% of the equivalent list price, charged as a gateway fee.
- Prices are in euro and exclude VAT, which is added where required.
- Credits do not expire while your account is active. They are not transferable and, except where consumer law requires otherwise, are not refundable once spent.
- Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Ask at support@finalrouter.com and we will process it without an argument.
- A spend cap you set is enforced before a request is billed, not after. If you set one and we bill past it, the excess is ours to absorb.
We give 30 days notice by email before any pricing change. Credits you already bought are honoured at the price you paid.
7.Availability
We target 99.9% monthly availability of the gateway and publish incidents as they happen. Enterprise agreements can carry a contractual SLA with service credits; the standard plans do not.
Availability means our gateway accepting and routing requests. A provider going down is not our outage — handling it is exactly what fallback is for, and we count a request that succeeded on a fallback model as a success.
8.Providers and third parties
Final Router routes to independent providers. We do not control their models, their pricing, their availability or their content policies, and we do not warrant their output. Where a provider changes a model, deprecates it or alters its price, we pass that change through and tell you.
9.Suspension and termination
You can close your account whenever you like, from Settings, with no exit interview. Unused credits are refunded on request if the account is in good standing.
We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where we are legally required to. Except for clear abuse, we give notice and a reasonable chance to put it right first.
On termination your access stops and your data is deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. Export your usage history before you close the account — once deletion runs we cannot recover it.
10.Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that routing will be uninterrupted, that a given model will remain available, or that model output will be accurate or fit for any purpose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11.Limitation of liability
Neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however it arises.
Our total aggregate liability under this agreement is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or one hundred euro.
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, including claims about content you generated through it.
12.Changes to these terms
We email account holders at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version. If you do not, close the account and we will refund unused credits in full.
13.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest survives. Not enforcing a right immediately does not waive it. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy and any Data Processing Addendum you have signed, are the entire agreement between us.
